Job Description

The role involves providing IT support and managing software release engineering tasks across multiple technology environments, including Windows Server 2008-2016, VM Ware, Office 365, and scripting with PowerShell, SQL Server, and SQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Technical expertise in Windows Server 2008-2016, VM Ware, software release, and RDBMS SQL Server.
• Deliver excellent customer service and user experience.
• Asset management of hardware and software.
• Build and deploy server architecture with supporting documentation aligned with company standards.
• Provide support during all defined maintenance weekends.
• Analyze current resourcing usage and future requirements to maintain appropriate IT service levels.
• Monitor performance against contractual service targets and take action to meet those targets.
• Build strong partnership relationships with customers.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience as an IT Support Engineer with software release experience.
• Interest and experience in DevOps and automation.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server 2008-2016.
• Comfortable working with Office 365.
• Proficient or willing to learn scripting in PowerShell or similar.
• Knowledge of VM Ware.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
