IT Operations & Infrastructure Manager

Salary: £50,000 – 60,000 per year

Requirements

• Experienced IT professional with strong infrastructure knowledge
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and related services
• Experience with Microsoft Azure administration, configuration and management
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure including servers, networking, storage and cloud technologies
• Experience delivering and managing IT support services within a business environment
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) and Microsoft security technologies
• Understanding of IT service management principles and best practices
• Experience managing third‑party suppliers and service providers
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Previous experience in an IT Operations, Infrastructure or Technical Manager role would be highly advantageous

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, ensuring high levels of availability, performance and security
• Administer and support our Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and SharePoint
• Configure, manage and optimise our Microsoft Azure environments, ensuring best practice for security, governance and performance
• Oversee IT operations, monitoring system health and proactively resolving infrastructure issues
• Lead our IT support services, ensuring end users receive a responsive and high‑quality support experience
• Manage incident, problem and change processes to minimise disruption to business operations
• Work closely with third‑party suppliers and technology partners to deliver effective IT services
• Support business continuity, disaster recovery planning and cyber security initiatives
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement new technologies where appropriate
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, procedures and operational standards
