Overview

Software Development Team Leader to head one of a series of Agile/Scrum teams for a long‑established Mid‑lands based tech client. The role offers a competitive salary of £50-55K and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of four developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
• Drive the delivery of software across a stack of ASP.NET, C#, WEB API, Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Coordinate with UX/UI designers and product owners, translating design documents into responsive, adaptive web applications.
• Champion best practices in unit testing, code reviews, continuous integration and deployment.
• Maintain high standards of software quality and performance on deliverables.

Qualifications

• Expertise in ASP.NET, C#, WEB API, and RESTful Web Services.
• Strong experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular (or AngularJS) and jQuery.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles.
• Demonstrated history of full‑stack development.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Customer‑focused attitude and passion for innovation.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and line management of software teams.
