Alexander Steele Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a Glasgow-based food business to recruit an experienced Application Manager.
This is a hands‑on role with responsibility for the day‑to‑day management and development of the company’s IT systems and applications. You’ll take ownership of Microsoft 365, business applications, infrastructure, end‑user support, and automation, working closely with colleagues across the business and external technology partners to ensure systems are secure, reliable, and fit for purpose.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support business applications, including ERP and warehouse systems.
- Administer and optimise the Microsoft 365 environment.
- Develop and maintain Power Automate workflows.
- Oversee network infrastructure alongside the managed service provider.
- Provide Windows and macOS desktop support.
- Manage third‑party suppliers, software licensing and technical escalations.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems and business processes.
About You
- Previous experience in an Application Manager, IT Manager or senior IT support role.
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Automate.
- Good understanding of networking and infrastructure.
- Experience supporting Windows and macOS environments.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.
