Title: Staff Software Engineer (High-Growth Product Companies)
Location: London & remote (UK / Europe)
Compensation: Total compensation up to £200,000+ plus equity
Overview
A Staff title means very different things at different companies. The teams we’d put you in front of hire for ambition and judgement, not just years and stack.
Responsibilities
You could work on the following high-leverage problems:
- Setting technical direction on the highest-leverage problems in the company
- Architecting and shipping production systems end-to-end
- Raising the bar across teams through design, review and mentorship
- Working directly with founders, product and design on what gets built next
Qualifications
You may have:
- A track record at Staff level, or a Senior clearly ready for the step up
- Depth in a core stack plus the range to move across the whole system
- Architectural judgement paired with a bias for shipping
- A habit of making the engineers around you better
