Job Description
Bromley Children’s Social Care, recently awarded an Ofsted rating of “outstanding”, is looking for a registered Team Manager to lead one of our Safeguarding and Care Planning teams. The role involves working in partnership with Police, Health and Education to ensure children grow up with the best life chances and receive safe and consistent care. You will support families and children under Child in Need Plans, Child Protection Plans and Children Looked After in care proceedings, aiming to create and promote an enabling environment where children can thrive. The team operates across 12 Safeguarding Teams in the borough, with a specialist Court Team. You will be part of an ambitious service with strong leadership and clear lines of support.
Responsibilities
As a Team Manager you will supervise a small cluster team of five Social Workers, provide reflective supervision, manage caseloads, and work closely with other agencies to safeguard children. You will oversee the delivery of Safe Guardianship, Care Planning and Family Support services, and contribute to continuous improvement and transformation plans.
Qualifications
Applicants must hold a degree in Social Work.
