Marsh is looking for a Strategic Project Analyst to join our Chief of Staff team within our Digital Client Experience (DCX) unit — the team leading the incubation and acceleration of innovative client solutions globally. This role will be based in the London office. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.
This role is for you if…
- thrive at the intersection of strategy and execution — you connect the dots between a business problem and a path forward, thinking in terms of operating model, digital‑first, and change enablement.
- know what it takes to build something from scratch, having been close enough to product development to understand the journey from whiteboard to launch, the concept of an MVP, and the importance of a product brief before code is written.
- are genuinely curious about what’s next, energized by terms like applied AI, human‑centred design, and agile, and willing to ask why when someone says “we’ve always done it this way.”
- are comfortable in ambiguity yet rigorous at the finish line, able to hold their own in a room with technologists, strategists, and senior business leaders, translating between all three.
- feel the mission matters, excited by shaping products that help clients manage risk at the intersection of insurance, data, and AI.
We will count on you to:
- Support delivery of strategic initiatives — owning timelines, dependencies, and quality from kick‑off through launch with clear outcome measurement.
- Translate strategy into executable plans: objectives, success metrics, delivery roadmaps, and governance frameworks.
- Coordinate cross‑functional execution across Product, Tech, Commercial, and Operations, driving clarity on roles, handoffs, and decisions.
- Design and maintain strategic reporting and KPI tracking across the initiative lifecycle.
- Produce executive‑ready communications: status updates, decision briefs, and steering readouts that give leadership clear visibility into progress and risk.
- Support change and communications management, including adoption plans and embedding changes into business operations.
What you need to have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; able to distil complex information and communicate clearly with technical, product, and business audiences.
- 1–3 years’ experience delivering strategic, cross‑functional initiatives in a corporate environment (strategy execution, transformation, or internal consulting) from definition through implementation.
- Experience running end‑to‑end delivery: planning, governance, dependency management, risk and issue management, and executive‑ready reporting.
- Proven ability to operate in a fast‑moving, ambiguous environment and translate strategic goals into measurable outcomes.
What makes you stand out:
- A curious mindset — you go beyond the first layer and ask the questions others don’t.
- Strategy consulting background or equivalent internal strategy experience.
- Familiarity with agile, client‑centric product development environments.
- Initial experience in transformation and change management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills — able to distil complexity for technical, product, and business audiences alike.
- A collaborative approach that earns trust across functions and seniority levels.
Why join our team:
- Professional development opportunities, interesting work, and supportive leaders.
- A vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients and communities.
- A range of career opportunities and benefits to enhance your well‑being.
