Mixed or Personal Tax Senior – Macclesfield

Overview

Our client is a well-regarded independent firm seeking an experienced mixed tax or personal tax professional to join their Macclesfield office. The role would suit someone who is ATT qualified and has experience running and managing a UK tax portfolio.

Our client will consider a part-time or full-time appointment. You would be a senior member of the tax team, working with managers and partners, building long-term relationships with clients in a friendly, supportive office environment.

A really nice local firm in a growing, successful tax practice which is still fiercely independent.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, including handling queries from HMRC.
• Prepare, review, and submit personal tax returns.
• Supervise and mentor junior members of the tax team.
• Assist with advisory work, including HMRC enquiries and disclosures, and tax planning for individuals and trusts.

Qualifications and Requirements

• ATT qualification (or equivalent) with experience running and managing a UK tax portfolio.
• Experience in mixed tax or personal tax.
• Flexible working arrangement (part-time or full-time).
• Ability to work with managers and partners and to develop long-term client relationships in a collaborative environment.
