Position Overview
We are excited to invite a compassionate and dedicated professional to join our Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Community Neurology Teams in King’s Lynn. In this role you will support registered staff in delivering respiratory and neurology exercise prescription. Both services provide specialist intervention—including group education and exercise—to individuals living with chronic respiratory disease and complex neurological conditions. Care is offered face‑to‑face, via virtual platforms and telephone.
Responsibilities
- Assist in delivering exercise and education classes to patients with respiratory and neurological disease across various venues in Norfolk.
- Support the organisation and delivery of Pulmonary Rehabilitation for people with long‑term lung conditions such as COPD and Pulmonary Fibrosis, including assessing, planning, implementing and reviewing patients referred by registered clinicians within community settings (both face‑to‑face and virtual).
- Contribute to the assessment, treatment and review of patients with long‑term neurological conditions to enhance quality of life and independence, within settings such as patient homes and gyms.
- Collaborate with registered staff to maintain a flexible, multi‑disciplinary approach to care.
- Engage in training opportunities offered by the Trust.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of long‑term health conditions, including respiratory and neurological disorders.
Working Hours
Part‑time, 18.75 hours per week. Community Neurology exercise provision runs on Mondays; Pulmonary Rehabilitation runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
