Overview
Our Cardiology service supports both inpatient and outpatient procedures, and in this role you will primarily work within our Outpatients Department. You will work closely with consultants, physiologists and nursing colleagues to deliver safe, effective and patient‑focused care. This role is ideal for someone looking for flexible hours while continuing to make a meaningful clinical impact.
Responsibilities
- Perform a range of cardiac investigations including ECGs and exercise tolerance tests
- Apply and analyse cardiac monitors, including Holter monitoring and interpretation of results
- Support use of ZIO patches (desirable) and pacing services (experience beneficial but not essential)
- Assess patients health and wellbeing across a varied caseload
- Plan, deliver and evaluate care tailored to individual patient needs
- Communicate complex and sensitive information in a clear and supportive way
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement and service development
Qualifications
- Degree in Cardiac Physiology or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years post‑graduate experience
- Experience in non‑invasive cardiac investigations
- Registration with AHCS or RCCP BSE and/or BHRS accreditation desirable
- Evidence of ongoing professional development

Working Hours
Part‑time – 20 hours per week. This role will be worked across Monday to Saturday, between 07:30 and 20:00.
