Pharmacist Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist Manager to lead our community pharmacy at Huyton PCC in Liverpool. The role focuses on delivering the best patient and customer experience while managing a fully staffed team in a health centre setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the pharmacy team, ensuring high‑quality service and compliance with NHS and GPhC standards.
• Oversee daily operations, including dispensing up to 12,000 items per month and 60 community blisters.
• Collaborate with the local health centre and other healthcare partners.
• Implement new technologies such as the PMR system and centralised dispensing to enhance quality care.
• Support staff development through training and structured pharmacy visits.
• Promote mental health awareness and provide support within the pharmacy.

Qualifications

• MPharm degree or equivalent.
• GPhC registration required upon start date.
• Proven management experience in a community pharmacy setting.
• Strong knowledge of NHS and private pharmacy services.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Commitment to serving a diverse and inclusive community.
