NHS Scotland is launching a Walk-in Service – Advance Clinical Practitioner in the Western Isles. The role involves clinical assessment and management of same-day urgent care, with access to onsite diagnostics and Near Me video appointments.
The service operates weekdays 9:00 am–5:30 pm and expands from November 2026 to cover North Uist, Benbecula and South Uist. Band 7 remuneration ranges from £52,845 to £61,466 per annum, plus a Distant Island Allowance of £1,461.
