Our client is seeking an experienced designer with a strong luxury portfolio who can confidently lead projects from concept through to completion. This role requires a highly creative individual with excellent client‑facing skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to oversee multiple projects while mentoring junior team members. You will play a key role in shaping design direction, managing procurement and FF&E, and ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout every stage of the design process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead prestigious projects across various sectors from concept through to completion
  • Develop and present creative design concepts, mood boards, and client presentations
  • Produce detailed drawing packages, including plans, elevations, joinery details, and technical documentation
  • Manage project programmes, budgets, procurement, and supplier coordination through to installation
  • Create bespoke furniture and joinery designs, reviewing shop drawings and tender information
  • Oversee FF&E procurement, managing complex budgets, orders, and delivery schedules
  • Mentor and support junior designers, providing design guidance and technical expertise
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, manufacturers, and contractors

Key Skills / Requirements

  • Strong design flair with the ability to develop bespoke, design‑led interiors
  • Extensive experience in FF&E procurement, supplier management, and budget control
  • Excellent technical ability, including bespoke joinery and furniture detailing
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Confident client‑facing communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Esti‑PC, ArchiCAD and Microsoft Office
  • Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and proactive, with a collaborative and hands‑on approach
  • Excellent understanding of luxury materials, craftsmanship, and furniture manufacturing processes
  • Positive and collaborative in your approach
