Department Overview

The Production (Assembly) Department at ZUK135 is dedicated to the meticulous assembly and quality assurance of our technologically advanced surveillance and security systems. Our mission is to transform innovative designs into fully functional, market‑leading products that meet the highest standards of reliability, performance, and durability.

Job Description

This on‑site role at our Ware offices requires five days per week. The Assembly Technician will assemble parts and components to build mechanical or electrical products, read and interpret engineering drawings, test assemblies, and report faults. The role also involves troubleshooting, repairing issues, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and performing basic maintenance on machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components in accordance with technical drawings.
  • Test completed assemblies for correct operation.
  • Perform basic maintenance on machinery and equipment.
  • Identify and replace defective assembly components.
  • Investigate and diagnose faults.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a production and assembly environment.
  • Proficiency with a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings, schematics, and instructions.
  • Strong practical skills and manual dexterity.
  • High level of accuracy and methodical work style.
  • Capacity to work to tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
