Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer
We are looking for a hands‑on engineer to keep our factory moving. You will diagnose electrical faults, carry out preventative maintenance, respond to breakdowns, support mechanical repairs, install new equipment, and work closely with production teams to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on production machinery.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns and restore production safely.
- Support mechanical repairs as part of a multi‑skilled engineering team.
- Install new machinery and deliver improvement projects.
- Collaborate with production teams to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
- Identify smarter ways of working through continuous improvement.
- Look after engineering stores and ensure critical spare parts are available.
- Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping and engineering excellence.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Confident in fault‑finding electrical systems.
- Problem‑solving mindset and proactive attitude.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a supportive team.
- Commitment to quality, safety and keeping production running.
