Requirements

We are looking for a talented and collaborative Structural Design Engineer who shares our purpose and desire to make a positive difference to the world around them. You will join our friendly Studio, working closely with high profile private and public-sector clients, influencing with your technical expertise and effective communication skills.

Key elements of the job

  • Structural engineering design
  • Preparing, presenting and checking drawings and calculations
  • Briefing Technicians and Graduates on the above
  • Attending site and project team meetings under the direction of a Senior Engineer/Associate
  • Occasional visits to construction sites for survey/ inspection of works
  • Internal reviews/ critiques
  • Contributing to writing bids and fees proposals
  • On project training
  • Compliance with the duties of Designer under the CDM Regulations 2015
  • Compliance with the Practice QMS
