Lead AI Engineer: Shape Architecture & Scale Production AI

Maxwell Bond is seeking a hands-on AI engineer to help shape scalable production AI solutions in Manchester. You will build, deploy and operate AI systems, mentoring engineers and influencing the technical direction across teams.

You will work with LLMs, RAG workflows and modern AI frameworks, aligning architecture with deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure. This is a core, early-stage AI function with ownership over how AI gets built and scaled.
