About the Role

We are seeking an experienced UC Systems Engineer to join a growing and innovative technology solutions provider. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer‑focused engineer with a strong background in Unified Communications (UC), IP telephony, and technical support.

You will play a key role in delivering installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support services across a diverse UC technology portfolio. Working closely with customers, project teams, support specialists, and sales colleagues, you will help ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, maintain, and support Unified Communications systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and system‑related issues.
  • Provide on‑site and remote technical support to customers.
  • Manage faults and service tickets in line with agreed SLAs.
  • Liaise with project and support teams to ensure efficient job completion and customer communication.
  • Support the sales function with technical expertise during customer engagements and solution design.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, records, and technical standards.
  • Continuously develop technical knowledge across UC and related technologies.
  • Contribute to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures, risk assessments, and safe working practices.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong background within the telecommunications or Unified Communications industry.
  • Solid understanding of UC IP technologies, telephony systems, and network topologies.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, fault‑finding, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • Experience working within SLA‑driven environments.
  • Excellent organisational, documentation, and time management skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to learning new technologies and expanding technical expertise.

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Office 365.
  • Understanding of broader IT infrastructure and support environments.
  • Experience working to high technical and service standards.
  • Based within the North West region.
