Renewables Heating Engineer in Birmingham, West Midlands (County)

Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established heating contractor operating within the local authority sector. They have a vacancy for a qualified renewables engineer to cover the West Midlands area carrying out servicing, fault finding, and repairs on renewable heating systems in domestic social housing properties.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of renewable central heating systems.
• Providing high levels of customer care when dealing with tenants and clients.
• Ensure all Health & Safety requirements and legislation are followed including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience as a qualified renewables engineer.
• Experience carrying out fault finding and repairs of Air Source Heat Pumps, Ground Source Heat Pumps and Solar Thermal.
• ACS qualifications incl. CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1 (desirable but not essential).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• No unspent criminal convictions (DBS Check to be carried out on offer of employment).

Package

• 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
• Overtime paid at hourly rate.
• Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided.
• Salary: £42,500 – £44,000 per annum.
