Responsibilities
- Support impressive portfolio of prestigious geotechnical projects both in the UK and internationally.
- Collaborate in teams where contributions matter.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships working on strategic projects across the infrastructure and energy sectors.
Requirements
- A good academic background with a degree in civil engineering or geology / geoscience and a post graduate qualification in a geotechnical subject.
- A good understanding of ground investigation techniques.
- Proven site experience including ground investigation supervision, site walkover surveys/ geotechnical inspections.
- Geotechnical design experience of structures, foundations and earthworks.
- Experience in general numerical software such as Geostudio, Repute, Wallap etc.
- Working towards Chartered status.
- Experience of working in a fast-moving engineering consultancy environment.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence to liaise with clients and engineers from other disciplines.
- Excellent report writing skills with the ability to self-check and produce accurate work.
- A willingness to travel on short assignments both within the UK and overseas.
- A valid UK driving licence.
