Responsibilities
- Lead scheduling and programme activities across KDC Veolia, serving as the subject matter expert for scheduling strategy and approach.
- Develop and standardise scheduling methodologies across the team, selecting appropriate strategies based on project requirements and available information.
- Create, oversee, and present professional schedules with realistic accuracy assessments and recommendations for appropriate time contingency levels.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Business Development, Bids, Operations) and external supply chain partners to understand customer requirements and ensure scheduling alignment with proposed solutions.
- Support project delivery teams with scheduling activities including variation estimates, concurrent delay analysis, and commercial dispute resolution, while incorporating real‑time learning from the delivery phase back into the development phase.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in scheduling and programme management, with demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing scheduling strategies across multiple projects.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to assess schedule accuracy, identify risks, and recommend appropriate contingency levels.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across internal teams and external supply chain partners.
- Commercial acumen and experience in resolving scheduling disputes, analysing concurrent delays, and balancing customer expectations with realistic delivery timelines.
- Knowledge of scheduling methodologies and tools, with the ability to standardise processes and mentor team members on best‑practice scheduling approaches.
