Reports To: Field Delivery Lead

Location: Field-Based

Job Overview

As a Dual Fuel Engineer, you’ll deliver excellent customer service to our client’s customers, focusing on enhancing both technical and personal skills to ensure high performance. You will effectively communicate the benefits of smart meters and guide customers through the installation process. Additionally, you’ll mentor junior engineers, promoting technical excellence and safe working practices. Flexibility is essential to handle emergencies and support team members on challenging tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain smart meters
• Conduct communication testing for meters and loggers
• Liaise with delivery support team
• Follow safety standards and maintain proper working procedures
• Manage and control stock

Qualifications & Skills

• Certifications: CMA1/CCN1, REGT1, MET1, MET2, or equivalent gas engineering qualifications
• Education: Level 2 Diploma in Smart Metering (Dual Fuel/Power) or proof of electrical competence
• Experience: Prior experience in dual fuel smart metering
• Strong technical ability and a proactive approach to customer communications
• Full UK driving license
