To further expand our capability in delivering MEP design projects, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join us. You will help deliver projects across rail, water / wastewater treatment, data centres, tunnels and more, building your expertise with support from senior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Producing electrical designs and supporting documentation across building services, water, data centre, rail, and tunnels projects
- Working with senior engineers and design managers to develop designs in line with client requirements, relevant standards, and project programmes
- Carrying out load calculations, cable sizing, and electrical schematic development.
- Producing and coordinating electrical layouts and models in Revit and AutoCAD, working collaboratively with other disciplines
- Supporting site surveys, design coordination meetings, and liaison with clients and contractors as required
- Contributing to design reviews and ensuring work is delivered to quality, time, and budget expectations
- Continuing to develop your technical knowledge and working towards Chartered status
Qualifications
- Be pursuing Chartered Engineer status, or an equivalent qualification, through a recognized professional institution
- Working knowledge of ON (electrical design/network analysis) and Techpro design software
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for electrical layouts and modelling
- An interest in developing broader sector experience and progressing towards more senior design responsibility
