Multi Skilled Engineer – Earlies, Days & Lates (3 Seperate Roles)

Required skills, qualifications and experience

• Technical Hands-On Engineering Experience, preferably through recognised time-served apprenticeship within food manufacturing
• Technical qualifications and competence in mechanical/electrical at a minimum NVQ Level 3
• BTEC Engineering certificate/equivalent qualification
• Broad Knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Mechanical, Electrical & PLC/Inverter Assets
• Skills and capability to logically diagnose and fault find on a variety of equipment/situations
• Strong experience in ensuring safe working and safe systems of work are utilised and followed
• Experience of risk assessing maintenance activity and controlling safe working practices
• Experience of working on high hazard equipment & competent in undertaking safe isolation
• Strong evidence of good interpersonal, communications and customer engagement skills
• Specific experience of clarifying priorities to customers in a busy environment
• Proven ability to get the best from a diverse team through a calm and clear approach
• Ability to engage positively with production to ensure equipment release for maintenance
• Experience and knowledge of Lean and Asset Care Excellence techniques particularly root cause

I have outlined the details for the 3 rotating shifts below. There is a premium on the late shift.

x1 – Perm Earlies

• Shift 04:30am -13:00pm
• Monday Friday
• 1 Saturday working in every 4 to be paid at 1.5 day rate £259.61 (start time 07:00am 15:30pm)
• Salary £45,000 per annum
• Overtime benefit £3,115.00
• Total salary £48,115

x1 – Perm Days

• Shift 09:30am -18:00pm
• Monday Friday
• 1 Saturday working in every 4 to be paid at 1.5 day rate £259.61 (start time 07:00am 15:30pm)
• Salary £45,000 per annum
• Overtime benefit £3,115.00
• Total salary £48,115

x1 – Perm Lates

• Shift 14:30pm -23:00pm
• Monday Friday
• 1 Saturday working in every 4 to be paid at 1.5 day rate £276.92 (start time 09:00am 17:30pm)
• Salary £48,000 per annum
• Overtime benefit £3,323.00
• Total salary £51,323
