Overview

Senior IT Support Engineer with responsibility for 3rd line support across VMWare, Windows Server 2008-2016, Office 365, Linux, Cisco networking, scripting and database administration. The role requires strong communication skills, ability to work remotely and at deskside, and a focus on delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in Windows Server 2008-2016, VMWare, Office 365, and SQL Server.
• Deliver excellent customer service and experience.
• Manage assets of hardware and software.
• Build and deploy server architecture with supporting documentation aligned with company standards.
• Provide support during defined maintenance weekends.
• Analyze current resource usage and future requirements to meet IT service targets.
• Monitor performance against contractual service targets and take appropriate action to achieve them.
• Build strong partnership relationships with customers.

Qualifications

• Experience working with VMWare.
• Experience working with Windows Server 2008-2016.
• Comfortable working with Office 365.
• Knowledge of Linux, Cisco networking, and scripting such as PowerShell is ideal.
• Strong technical aptitude, communication, and teamwork skills.
