Consultant Neurophysiologist

One Health is seeking a Consultant Neurophysiologist to support and grow our Neurophysiology team across South Yorkshire, Leicestershire, and Lincolnshire.

Responsibilities

• Assess and undertake investigations for NHS patients referred to One Health via the NHS e-Referral System.
• Perform all neurophysiology requirements, including EMG and NCS, and manage complex spinal cases.
• Work across multiple outreach clinic sites in South Yorkshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire.
• Subject to onboarding process and approval from the Clinical Governance Lead.
• Obtain and maintain Practicing Privileges for each hospital where procedures are undertaken.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and provide a professional, empathetic telephone manner.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a similar neurophysiology role within a private or NHS setting.
• Current NHS post or long‑term locum post of more than 12 months, or a substantive NHS consultant for at least 3 years before leaving the NHS.
• GMC registration with no hearings or restrictions.
• Relevant subspecialty qualifications (e.g., FRCS(orth) in Orthopaedics) or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
