We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join our friendly and supportive HR team.
Grade & Pay
This is a career‑graded post, meaning we can appoint at:
- Grade 10 – HR Business Partner
- Grade 11 – HR Business Partner
Role Overview
In this key role, you will act as a trusted HR business partner, providing expert advice and practical support to managers, headteachers and governors across a wide range of workforce matters. The work is varied, impactful and often complex – covering areas such as employee relations, organisational change, workforce planning and policy development.
Key Requirements
We’re looking for someone who is:
- A confident, credible HR professional with strong employee relations experience.
- Skilled in handling complex and sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy.
- Able to build effective relationships across services, including schools and trade unions.
- Solutions-focused, resilient, and able to manage competing priorities.
- Committed to continuous professional development.
Qualifications
Grade 10:
- Level 5 CIPD qualification (or equivalent experience) with a commitment to progress to CIPD Level 7 within 3 years.
- Around 3+ years’ HR experience.
Grade 11:
- CIPD Level 7 qualified and/or Chartered CIPD Membership.
- Significant HR experience (typically 5+ years) with the ability to operate at a strategic level.
