Description

Senior Infrastructure Engineer / Infrastructure Architect / Technical Consultant role in a global tech firm. Responsibilities include advising multiple organisations on IT strategy, project implementation, and support, and assisting pre‑sales through design and implementation training. The position is client‑facing with occasional travel to UK offices.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure design and implementation projects from start to finish.
• Advise clients on IT strategy and technology solutions.
• Support sales and pre‑sales activities.
• Provide technical expertise across project, support, and sales.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Technical Skills / Environment

• Windows Server, Unix/Linux
• VMWare, Citrix, Hyper‑V
• Powershell, Active Directory
• Cisco UCS and Networking
• Office365, Azure, AWS
• Cyber Security

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in infrastructure design and deployment.
• Strong client‑facing and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Windows, Unix/Linux, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
• Experience with networking technologies such as Cisco UCS.
• Proficiency in scripting (e.g., PowerShell).
