Hive Media Control is a specialist media server manufacturer delivering high-performance playback and control solutions for the live events, immersive experience, museum, and location-based entertainment industries. Our technology powers projects around the world across projection mapping, interactive installations, live productions, experiential spaces, and permanent AV environments.

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Technical Sales Account Manager to join our growing team.

This role is suited to someone who combines sales capability with strong technical product understanding and industry experience. You should be equally comfortable developing new business relationships, managing key accounts, delivering product demonstrations, discussing workflows with technical teams, and contributing to system design conversations.

This is a hybrid role based around our Horsham office, with a minimum expectation of one day per week on-site, alongside regular UK and international travel to meet customers, support partners, attend trade shows, and represent Hive at industry events.

The Technical Sales Account Manager will play a key role in driving revenue growth and expanding Hive’s presence across global markets.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing new business opportunities across target sectors and territories
  • Managing and growing existing customer and partner relationships
  • Delivering technical product demonstrations and presentations
  • Supporting customers with solution design and workflow consultation
  • Working closely with system integrators, consultants, designers, and technical end users
  • Preparing proposals, quotations, and sales forecasts
  • Representing Hive at industry exhibitions, events, and customer demonstrations worldwide
  • Collaborating with internal engineering and product teams to support customer requirements and market feedback
  • Helping identify new market opportunities and strategic partnerships

We are looking for someone with a strong combination of commercial, technical, and industry experience.

You should have:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ relevant industry experience
  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong technical acumen and confidence discussing media server workflows and AV systems
  • Experience delivering customer-facing technical demonstrations and presentations
  • The ability to build trusted relationships with both commercial and technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrable experience of solution selling
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach
  • Ability to travel frequently within the UK and internationally

  • Media servers
  • Immersive and experiential technology
  • Projection mapping
  • Museum and exhibition installations
  • Location-based entertainment (LBE)
  • Live events and touring productions
  • Interactive AV systems
  • Real-time graphics and playback workflows

Candidates from technical system design, engineering, or solutions architecture backgrounds will also be considered where combined with relevant sales or customer-facing commercial experience.
