Job Description:

• New Business Development• Identify, research and engage prospective exhibitors, sponsors and advertisers.• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to win new business across the portfolio.• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking and market research.• Generate revenue through exhibition space, sponsorship, advertising and digital opportunities.• Consistently exceed individual sales targets and KPIs.• Account Management & Client Retention• Manage and grow a portfolio of existing clients.• Maximise customer retention and drive year-on-year rebook revenue.• Build strong, consultative relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across the wider portfolio.• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure clients achieve strong ROI from their participation.• Event & Industry Engagement• Attend industry events, competitor exhibitions and client meetings both in the UK and internationally.• Represent the portfolio as a trusted industry partner and ambassador.• Develop a strong understanding of industry trends, market developments and customer needs.• Work closely with marketing, operations and content teams to support successful event delivery and campaign execution.• Collaboration & Portfolio Growth• Contribute ideas and market intelligence to support the strategic growth of the portfolio.• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver best-in-class customer experiences.• Take ownership of your territory, pipeline and revenue performance.

Requirements

  • 3-4+ years’ experience in a sales, account management/key account management, recruitment agency or business development role
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong new business development skills with the ability to identify and convert opportunities
  • Experience managing client accounts and building long-term commercial relationships
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive and target-driven mindset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced commercial environment with clear KPIs
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
