Job Overview

Job Title: Family Time Worker

Working Pattern: Full‑time, 37 hours per week, flexibly over 5 days between 9:00 am and 6:30 pm (weekend rota may be required).

Salary: £30,024 – £32,597 (Pay Award Pending)

Location: Hartsholme Family Centre, Lincoln, Lincolnshire

About the Role

The Family Time Service in Lincolnshire supports children and families through supervised family time appointments. The successful applicant will supervise sessions where children are subject to court proceedings and no longer in parental care. The role involves maintaining accurate records, safeguarding, and working in partnership with parents and professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise family time appointments between children and parents/families.
  • Complete detailed reports after each session.
  • Work in partnership with parents, professionals and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • Maintain accurate record‑keeping and IT usage.
  • Travel to various locations within the county; use a car and possess a clean driving licence.

Qualifications & Skills

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or a related equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good understanding of child development, attachment, separation, and risk management.
  • Strong reporting and IT skills.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English (Fluency Duty).

Other Requirements

No skilled‑worker visa sponsorship will be offered due to immigration law restrictions.

Car use and a current clean driving licence are essential.
