D365 Supply Chain Functional Lead

Responsibilities

• Act as the functional IT lead for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (SCM), owning end‑to‑end supply chain process design and solution integrity
• Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Procurement business stakeholders to translate business needs into robust D365 SCM solutions
• Lead functional design and configuration across SCM modules, including Product Information Management, Procurement & Sourcing, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management and Transportation Management
• Conduct and own fit–gap analysis, functional design documents, and solution blueprints
• Guide and review work delivered by system integrators and implementation partners, ensuring adherence to design standards and business objectives
• Design and Build Test Plans and oversee testing strategy (SIT, UAT), defect resolution, and solution sign‑off from Supply‑chain perspective
• Collaborate closely with Technical Leads, Integration teams, Data Migration, and Security roles
• Support cutover, go‑live, and hyper‑care, ensuring operational readiness
• Act as a trusted advisor for continuous improvement, enhancements, and roadmap planning post go‑live

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience working on ERP deployment projects
• Proven experience as a Functional Lead or Senior Functional Consultant for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management
• Hands‑on experience expertise in one or more SCM areas such as inventory, warehouse, procurement, manufacturing or planning
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end ERP implementation lifecycle and end‑to‑end supply chain business processes
• Experience with D365 SCM configuration, master data, and process modeling
• Ability to effectively bridge business operations and IT delivery teams
• Experience working with external implementation partners and system integrators
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills
• Fluent English (written and spoken); additional European languages are a plus.
