Project Manager – Performance and Modernisation

As part of the whole Council Performance and Modernisation team the postholder will play a key role in helping the Council deliver its Council Plan by managing a wide range of projects.

Be responsible for planning and directing the necessary resources to ensure successful delivery of the projects. Delivering modernisation and improvement projects across Council services adhering to the authority’s standard project management method.

This will require:

• Thorough planning, development and monitoring of the work programme, problem solving and remedial action where necessary;
• Acting as Project Manager for cross-cutting projects, coordinating viable business cases in a timely manner.

Welsh language skills essential
