Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to depot operations as required.
- Coordinate incoming and outbound calls from customers and colleagues.
- Respond to internal and external emails and booking requests.
- Update the in‑house computer database and operating system.
- Process orders from booking requests through to job confirmation.
- Liaise with transport and managers to agree schedule dates for bookings.
- Provide general administrative support on a wide range of tasks.
- Ensure all training requirements are up to date.
- Complete daily worksheets, including hours for driving and other duties.
- Check drivers’ hours against verilocation and confirm on Xeres.
- Create work tickets and consignment notes in Xeres/PDA.
- Follow ticket confirmation process on Xeres and ensure data in vehicle performance reports is accurate.
- Maintain the skills chart.
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proactive and positive self‑starter.
- Computer literate.
- Results orientated and able to deliver to deadlines.
- Excellent team‑working skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
- Experience within a similar sector desirable (not essential).
