Night Shift Manager

Grade: RCS MContract Type: Full time ( Permanent )Shift patterns: 4 on, 4 off / 18:00 -06:00Location: Northampton, NN4 9BD

What You’ll Do

• Lead the team: supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Streamline processes: implement innovative strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency in the warehouse.
• Ensure safety: uphold the highest safety standards and compliance regulations, creating a safe and secure workplace for everyone.
• Monitor performance: track key performance indicators and drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet and exceed our goals.
• Foster collaboration: build a strong team culture that values communication, accountability and teamwork.

This Role Would Suit People Who

• Have proven experience as a Warehouse Shift Manager within a busy logistics environment (2‑3 years).
• Have experience in developing and training a team of managers.
• Have a performance mindset and operational excellence to drive a culture focused on quality, accuracy, cost control, and efficiency.
• Have experience with cultural change and continuous improvement.
• Understand and manage cost‑to‑serve, productivity, and performance.
• Have experience in change management and continuous improvement.
• Will work with HRBP, Health & Safety, resource planners and other managers.
• Will be responsible for five First Line Managers.
• Happy to work on a rotational shift of 4 on / 4 off.
