Salary: £95,000 – £95,000 per year

Requirements

• We need a strong technical background within Financial Services or a structured SOC / Penetration Testing environment.
• We value experience with infrastructure hardening, including enterprise firewalls such as Palo Alto and Cisco, WAF/DDoS protection such as Imperva, and Microsoft gateways.
• We value experience with threat detection and response, including email/web security gateways such as Mimecast and Menlo, SIEM/SOAR platforms, and EDR/XDR alert response using tools such as CrowdStrike and Rapid7 IDR.
• We value experience in identity and access management, including MFA/SSO protocols using Okta and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• We value experience in endpoint and vulnerability management, including Microsoft Intune, vulnerability scanning and remediation using Rapid7 IVM, and security certificate management with DigiCert.
• We value experience remediating penetration test findings and contributing to security architecture projects.
• We need strong knowledge of GDPR and ISO27001.
• We need exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interface with the wider business.
• Relevant industry certifications are highly preferred, such as CISM, Microsoft Security, or OSCP.

Responsibilities

• We will expect you to take technical ownership of implementing, maintaining, and hardening robust security across our global infrastructure.
• We will expect you to manage and optimise enterprise firewalls, WAF/DDoS protection, and Microsoft gateways.
• We will expect you to oversee email and web security gateways, SIEM/SOAR platforms, and EDR/XDR alert response.
• We will expect you to administer MFA/SSO protocols using Okta and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• We will expect you to manage MDM/MAM solutions via Microsoft Intune, execute vulnerability scans and remediation, and manage security certificates.
• We will expect you to remediate penetration test findings, contribute to ad-hoc security architecture projects, and deliver security awareness training.
• We will expect you to act as a key technical leader, managing a Senior Security Analyst and third-party support while working with a Fractional CISO to safeguard sensitive financial data.

We are an established financial firm based near Bank station, working across all offices on data, network and security. This is a hybrid role with three days in the office and two days remote.
