Qualified Practitioner – Key Person Role

We have 1 position available at each of our three North London sites: Angel, Crouch Hill, and Tufnell Park. The salary is £29,513 (Level 3) – to be discussed for Level 3 plus. Hours are 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Holiday is 7 weeks of paid holiday.

Key Responsibilities

Key people have the honour to be responsible for a group of between 8 and 13 key children per week (many of the children are part‑time). You may start with fewer key children and gain more over time. Your role is to ensure that they can participate in the activities planned and that they progress in their development.

The primary responsibility of the key person is to have a deep knowledge and understanding of each key child individually. The key person should be the key children’s primary relationship within the nursery and be able to respond to, and plan for each child’s needs throughout the week.
