Estimator – Infrastructure

Job Title and Locations

Estimators and Senior Estimators across the Infrastructure sector (Rail, Airports, Highways, Power, Water, Utilities). Open positions available in London, Birmingham, Bristol and Manchester with remote options for UK-based candidates to support global clients within Turner & Townsend.

Key Responsibilities

• Production of accurate and comprehensive estimates and cost plans for projects within agreed timelines.
• Control and management of the estimating process at the project level.
• Prepare estimates with minimal supervision, ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Support the development and promotion of estimating best practice across the organisation.
• Aid in achieving departmental objectives and maintain high standards of estimating assurance.
• Keep current with developments in your technical area to offer best‑practice advice aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong background in estimating or quantity surveying, with proven success in large project environments.
• Experience applying estimating software packages.
• Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS, CIOB) with chartered status or working towards it.
• Desirable: certification in cost consultancy or related professional bodies.
