We are looking for a Hygiene Operative to provide excellent service standards for routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer. The role holder will be responsible for meeting all SLA agreements whilst adhering to the cleaning schedules.
Responsibilities
- Carry out general high risk and low risk hygiene tasks including washing equipment, walls, floors and overheads, mopping floors, belt cleaning and using scrubbing/sweeping equipment.
- Work as part of a team to ensure that the highest standards of visual and microbiological hygiene are always maintained across all areas of the site.
- Liaise closely with the Hygiene Team Leader, use chemicals safely, and ensure containers are labelled and locked at all times.
- Operate cleaning equipment and complete deep sanitation and other related duties.
- Dismantle equipment and machinery, handle and use chemicals subject to passing COSHH training. IPAF certification is desirable.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a food manufacturing cleaner is desirable but not compulsory; full training will be provided.
- Ability to dismantle equipment and machinery and handle chemicals with appropriate training.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
