What We Need In a Nutshell
We love creating exciting dining concepts across our locations and finding talented chefs to take them forward. In this Line Chef role you will be preparing and cooking for a busy restaurant, delivering delight to our guests.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assume responsibility for consistent and prompt food preparation, ensuring all meals meet our high standards.
- Help the team comply with agreed specifications of all dishes, ensuring proper portion sizes and managing waste closely.
- Maintain a safe, clean, hygienic, and tidy kitchen that complies with all food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Control food margins through effective stock management, product specification knowledge, and coaching of the team.
Work your magic on bank holidays and weekends as well, so holiday times are treated the same as any other busy shift.
Skills, Experience And Qualities You’ll Need
- Level Two Hygiene Certificate.
- 1–2 years’ experience as a line cook, commis chef, or chef de Partie.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to identify and solve problems.
- A real passion for food and enthusiastic attitude.
- Resilience under pressure.
The ideal candidate will have kitchen experience in a busy holiday park and a history of supervising others.
