Job Description Highly regarded Scottish law firm with a strong reputation across the private client market, is seeking an experienced and ambitious Private Client Partner to join its team in Glasgow. This is a strategic appointment offering the opportunity to play a key role in the continued development of an established private client practice.You will inherit a quality caseload, work with a loyal client base and have the autonomy to shape the future direction of the department. The firm advises high-net-worth individuals, business owners, landed estates, trustees and families on a broad range of wealth preservation and succession planning matters. n Role Profile: n As a Partner within the Private Client team, you will: n n Advise clients on wills, trusts and succession planning. n Provide inheritance tax, capital gains tax and estate planning advice. n Assist high-net-worth individuals and family business owners with wealth preservation strategies. n Manage the administration of complex estates and executries. n Advise trustees, beneficiaries and family trusts. n Support clients with powers of attorney and guardianship matters. n Develop and maintain strong client relationships. n Contribute to business development initiatives and raise the profile of the firm within the market. n Mentor and develop junior lawyers within the team. n n Candidate Requirements: n n Significant experience in private client law gained within a respected practice. n A proven track record of advising high-net-worth individuals and families. n Strong technical expertise across trusts, executries, tax and succession planning. n Excellent client relationship and networking skills. n A commercial and entrepreneurial approach. n Experience of business development and generating new instructions. n The ability to lead, mentor and inspire a successful team. n Existing following or portable business is welcomed but is not essential for exceptional candidates. n n On Offer: n n Partnership within a highly respected Scottish law firm. n Access to a strong and established client base. n Genuine influence over the growth and direction of the practice. n Competitive remuneration package. n Flexible and hybrid working arrangements. n Excellent support infrastructure and resources. n Collaborative and collegiate partnership culture. n n To Apply: n For a confidential discussion, to request the full job description or to apply, please click on the Apply Button. …
