Job Description Catastrophic Injury Team Manager (Strategy & Technical) (Claimant) – Fully Remote (UK) n8+ PQE guide | Salary up to £95,000 + bonus & benefits n nA specialist claimant Serious Injury practice is recruiting a senior catastrophic injury lawyer for a leadership role focused on strategy, quality and outcomes. This is a fully remote position, offering the time and autonomy to support complex, high-value work properly while leading and developing senior colleagues within a collaborative team environment. n n The opportunity nYou will lead a small group of senior lawyers handling complex catastrophic injury claims, predominantly RTA, often involving multi-million-pound outcomes. Working alongside the team, you will shape case strategy throughout the lifecycle of the claim and provide consistent technical direction to ensure the right outcomes for clients and the business. n n Key responsibilities nn   nn nt Setting and steering case strategy across liability, causation, quantum, rehabilitation planning and settlement approach nt Providing technical guidance, oversight and constructive challenge on key decision points and complex issues nt Leading and developing senior colleagues through regular 1-2-1s, coaching, development plans and performance reviews nt Maintaining consistently high standards of client care and communication across the team nt Working closely with a multi-disciplinary model, including rehabilitation input, case management, experts and counsel nt Supporting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement in how complex claims are managed nt Acting as a senior external representative as required, helping build profile and relationships in the serious injury space n nn n Essential experience nn   nn   nn nt Qualified solicitor with significant claimant serious injury experience (8+ years’ PQE guide) nt Track record of handling catastrophic injury matters to high-value outcomes, including complex liability and quantum nt Strong technical confidence across evidence, experts, interim payments/funding, rehabilitation and settlement strategy nt Demonstrable experience mentoring, supervising or developing colleagues nt Comfortable with people leadership responsibilities, including 1-2-1s and performance conversations nt Credibility to represent a serious injury practice externally with professionalism and sound judgement n nn n Location and working pattern nn   nn   nn nt Fully remote / home based (UK) nt Occasional travel for key client commitments, mediations, conferences or team collaboration when required n nn n What’s on offer nn   nn   nn nt Salary up to £95,000 + bonus & benefits nt Quality-first environment focused on complex work rather than volume-led delivery nt Benefits package typically including life assurance, income protection, flexible annual leave options and dedicated wellbeing time nt Ongoing investment in professional development and progression nt Opportunity to influence service delivery, knowledge leadership and wider team development n nn  n  n   nn…
