About the job:

The post holder will lead the delivery of a quality centralised admissions service to prospective Home and EU students (pre and post application), University Faculties, Schools and other internal and external stakeholders, all of which is critical to the delivery of the University’s recruitment targets.

They will develop and implement key strategies, and improvements to processes, to support the achievement and delivery of the University’s Home and EU recruitment objectives.

Candidates should clearly demonstrate on their application form how they meet the following criteria: –

1. Honours degree (or equivalent qualification) in any subject; OR Substantial relevant experience demonstrating management ability in a similar role.

2. Significant relevant experience in an Admissions or similar environment to include:* leading a team/others to deliver targets, including prioritising workloads and managing performance;* working directly with internal and external customers, providing a high level of service;* applying specialist knowledge and understanding in a complex business process area (preferably Higher Education based);* working towards and being measured against targets;* responsibility for planning, designing, developing and implementing a range of numerous and complex medium to long term projects; and* extensive Committee experience and demonstrated report writing skills.
