Role Overview
A fantastic role in our tax team for an individual with significant compliance and advisory experience. You will help manage and develop our corporate tax team and a well‑established portfolio of OMB/SME and large corporate clients, providing a mix of compliance and advisory services. You will play a key and leading role in developing and maintaining relationships with our corporate clients and will build strong links with the accounts and audit team to ensure a comprehensive tax service to clients. You will provide technical and mentoring support to team members and be a key point of contact for HMRC. There is the opportunity to become involved in developing tax technical material and to prepare and present at internal and external meetings and seminars.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop the corporate tax team and client portfolio.
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients.
- Build links with accounts and audit teams for comprehensive tax service.
- Provide technical and mentoring support to team members.
- Serve as the key point of contact for HMRC.
- Develop tax technical material and present at meetings and seminars.
Qualifications
- Significant UK-based corporate tax experience.
- CTA qualified or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work within a hybrid working model.
Location & Working
The role is based in Bristol, Exeter, Poole or Southampton and offers flexible, hybrid working. Relocation to the South West is welcomed for those seeking a better work‑life balance.
