Overview

One day could involve sorting deliveries, placing orders and scheduling hours to meet operational efficiency targets. The next day you might focus on people management and performance, handling customer queries or carrying out till spot checks. You will manage the overarching goals of maximising sales, delivering great customer service, minimising costs and improving operational efficiency.

*Please note, the salary displayed is based on a 45 hours per week contract. However, Aldi also offer 40-hour contracts and in these instances the salary offered would be pro-rated.

Responsibilities

  • Sort deliveries, place orders and schedule hours to meet operational efficiency targets.
  • Handle daily store operations to ensure smooth running and KPI achievement.
  • Manage customer queries and carry out till spot checks as part of daily duties.
  • Contribute to achieving overriding goals of maximising sales, delivering excellent customer service, minimising costs and optimising efficiency.

Qualifications

  • An experienced people-manager
  • Used to leading teams in a fast-paced, stakeholder/customer-driven environment
  • Skilled in time management, cost control and boosting operational efficiency
  • Motivated to consistently achieve targets

Benefits

  • Salary: £51,615 – £67,315 (45-hour contract). 40-hour contracts are available and salary is pro-rated accordingly.
