Senior Project Engineer – Test Facilities

Overview

Chartsign is seeking a dedicated Senior Project Engineer to lead the delivery of innovative test facilities and rigs within the automotive sector, particularly supporting vehicle and component testing for Jaguar Land Rover. This role offers a stimulating environment where your expertise in project management, from initial planning to commissioning, will be pivotal.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end engineering projects, ensuring alignment with project controls and governance frameworks such as PRINCE2 or APM.
• Utilize JIRA and Agile tools to facilitate effective tracking and delivery.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to meet project requirements within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Handle complex problems independently and coach junior professionals.
• Maintain significant site presence, especially during the initial phases, with a flexible approach thereafter.

Qualifications

• Experience leading end-to-end engineering projects within the automotive sector.
• Proficiency with project governance frameworks such as PRINCE2 or APM.
• Experience with JIRA and Agile methodology.
• Strong ability to collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to meet project requirements.
• Ability to work on site during initial phases and to coach junior professionals.
