Job Description:

SHIFT PATTERNS: 39 hours per week – 4 consecutive days on followed by 7 days off, then 3 consecutive days on followed by another 7 days off. Full UK Driving Licence with vehicle access is essential.

Overnight accommodation and meals are provided during the four working days while you support children aged 8‑18 in an activity‑based residential home focused on adventure and outdoor activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build nurturing relationships with young people, providing emotional stability and daily care.
  • Support the 12‑week programme, fostering personal and social development through structured activities and day‑to‑day routines.
  • Lead adventurous outdoor activities such as mountain biking, rock climbing, kayaking, bush‑craft, and walking, promoting confidence and essential life skills.
  • Act as a role model, encouraging personal growth and teamwork within a supportive care team.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Must be over 21 years old and hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to work 39 hours per week, adhering to the 4‑day on, 7‑day off shift pattern, including sleep‑ins.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS check (paid through Keys Group).
  • Relevant care or outdoor leadership experience is desirable.
