IT Support Engineer
Storm Aviation is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join the Stansted Office in the UK.
Role Overview
This position supports Windows desktop and Windows Server platforms, manages web servers, and administers Azure services. It also involves occasional site visits and airside DBS‑check compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for Windows desktop and server environments.
- Administer Azure Active Directory, Intune, and other modern cloud services.
- Manage web servers (IIS or similar) and related services.
- Use Power Automate or similar tools to develop workflow automation solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues independently.
- Communicate effectively with staff at all levels and maintain documentation.
- Travel as required to Storm Aviation UK sites.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience supporting Windows desktop and Windows Server platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Intune, and cloud services.
- Experience with web server management (IIS or similar).
- Familiarity with Power Automate or other automation tools.
- Excellent problem‑solving and independent working ability.
- Strong communication skills and confidence to support staff at all levels.
- Flexible, proactive, and team‑oriented mindset.
Desirable Certifications (not required)
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent IT service management knowledge.
Requirements
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- Ability to pass a DBS check for airport airside access.
