Pay: £16.07 per hour – Location: Edinburgh Central (hybrid working) – Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week – Duration: Temporary ongoing – Start Date: ASAP.
About the Role
Working within the Network Management & Enforcement team, you’ll provide senior administrative support to Transport Officers, Engineers, Project Managers and the Team Manager, helping to deliver key transport projects and services across the city.
Responsibilities
- Provide senior administrative support via telephone, email, MS Teams and face‑to‑face.
- Coordinate information, documentation and service requests to support project delivery.
- Maintain accurate records and update internal systems.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Handle confidential information in line with policies and legislation.
- Prioritise workloads, resolve service queries and support continuous service improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience in a senior administrative or business support role.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using databases and IT systems.
- Ability to manage confidential information and meet deadlines.
- Experience in a regulated or public sector environment is desirable.
