Salary: £45,000 – 70,000 per year
Requirements
- Strong, hands‑on SQL experience (support or delivery focused)
- Background in technical application support or similarly complex environments
- Comfortable working on issues requiring detailed analysis and business understanding
- Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills
- Confident communicator with technical and non‑technical teams
- Experience with case‑management or workflow systems (desirable)
- Exposure to professional services, financial services, legal, or regulated environments (desirable)
- Understanding of how business processes map to data and system logic (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Writing and maintaining SQL queries and scripts in a live production environment
- Investigating and resolving complex, multi‑day technical support issues
- Assessing system dependencies and business impact before implementing changes
- Supporting a workflow‑based / case‑management system
- Converting complex support tickets into small, deliverable enhancement pieces
- Working closely with developers, support teams, and business stakeholders
